Hi guys - fairly new to Linux so thought I would have a crack.
Put together a CentOS box on a spare machine I had (only selected CentOS as thats what they use at work) and thought I would try my hand at configuring a few things.
Put APF on, configured all the ports etc and started Apache / PHP etc.
Put a dummy website and played around with a simple page on it and went for a cuppa tea.
Came back and the SSH session was still running fine but I couldn't get to the website I had put on there.
To get the site back up (remember it was working before I went for me cuppa) I had to stop apf / IPTables and voila it all popped up :s
Any ideas why this happens - I have tried to start the forwall stuff up again and after some random time it stops me viewing the site!!
See, all too much for a newbie!
