So there is a lot of talk i'm hearing about the mbox smart box and the streaming it does with I believe IPTV I think it's all run through Kodi so I thought I would give a app for my LG Smart TV a try.
This app is called Smart IPTV you can upload your own lists to watch through your TV but I find the lists only showing a few channels working has anyone come across a good list resource or has a better alternative without me buying a mbox.

Isn't this just a plugin for KODI? If so you could get an RPI2 (total cost about £50 if you go to the pihut all in http://thepihut.com/collections/ras...dles/products/raspberry-pi-2-media-centre-kit) and install on that instead?

No you have a app on LG Smart tv's and same for samsung costs £5 or a 7 day trial for free which does the same purpose.

Now it depends what you're wanting. When people mention IPTV, to me, most folk go down the paying route. Free IPTV is pretty naff. This would go against forum rules though I'd imagine(so inb4 the lock). But as above, get an RPI2 and load kodi onto it. You can easily find plenty free viewing lists(quick search) and their are sites that provide their lists if you want to go down the paying route.
