If so - Basically anything can be mounted into a PC...
(If not, then with a dremel, most things can be mounted in a PC)

So probably.
But what is it you actually mean?
 
you will have to excuse my younger brother for being a little vague, i think i will just ban him from using my computer anymore!!

he is looking at purchasing the thermaltake armour jr case. this is advertised as having a vertical drive bay (in the bottom left) pic here thermaltake also produce an O3 (ozone) air cleaner. basically it is an axhaust fan at the front of your computer, but while exhaling the hot air from inside the case, it is cooled and converted to ozone (i think he picked up this eco-warrior idea from dad! ;) ). so, he is just wanting to know if it would be possible to fit the o3 unit into the vert bay. well, obviously it fits, but would it be as functional as if it were in a horizontal one (due to the intake fan on the top of the unit)?
