My old webcam (STMicroelectronics USB Dual-mode Camera) is haunting my computer! All I'd like to do is remove all its old drivers. (In regedit??)
I have a new webcam, installed and works ok on most applications, however I suspect it doesnt work on some websites as the 'default' webcam on my system is set to the the old dual mode camera. I think this as each time I use my cam, say in skype setup or youtube direct upload it gives me the option of using my old cam (not connected) or my new cam. Now can I dont iradicate all traces of this old cam? Is there a way to get all its old drivers off my machine?
edit: I have managed to delete the drivers via device manager by "showing devices that are not currently connected" and deleting them. However the dam old webcam is still showing up!
Thanks
