IRC Clients

What are your favoured clients? I've used the stock client and the NNScript.

Probably going to try something different and more minimal that the other two...not sure what's available though!

I use irssi, but if I wasn't I'd probably be using MIRC with NNscript.

I've always used Chatzilla, just because its integrated with Firefox and does everything I need.

I use irssi on the Linux laptop, and use X-Chat 2 (Silverex rework) on Windows 7.

I found mIRC to be quite poor over all. X-Chat is much nicer, completely free (the version I linked) and very customisable out of the box.

I use pidgin allowing me to keep all my instant messaging in one place.

Xchat on Widows, Colloquy on Mac and iPhone.

Very infrequently I'll use pjirc if I am using a machine that does not have an IRC client installed.

Given how basic my needs for IRC are, I just use the inbuilt client in Opera.
