a long shot here... has anyone tried to move it from one server to another... its SQL hosted I can move the data easily however the client machines will not connect to the new SQL server
I assume its the SA account (or other account) requireing a paticular password for their client software to chat to it initially.
I backed up and restored the database so it must be something outside the database
Iris want £1100 to remote in and "tweak" the database to work which seems excessive to me for 30mins work
(when I say the client machines will not connect they allow you to pick the new server in the server windows but error when you try pull down the list of databases on that server)
