Irish League Football fighting

The title of this sub-forum is pretty apt when you look at these pics from a game here yesterday between Larne and Newry. Absolutely ridiculous and I hope they all get banned for those head kicks. Little wonder some people don't like football with all the thugs involved!

I don't think that incident has anything to do with being an NI problem. Its a few thugs who simply could not control tempers. No crowd was involved. Just the thugs who play!

The guy with the kick to the head definitely should be looking at a life ban + a spell in the cells. Just ridiculous. I'm not a football fan at all but it's just not on that violence.

The head kicker has been suspended from his club. Thats a start! Apparently the police are investigating it all too.
