sisters just brought of these home tonight. Ive updated the firmware and trying to put songs on for her now. It suggests wmp for the transfer but its being an absolute muppet with the sync. Whats the easiest ways to add albums to the mp3 player either indivually or in a big batch.

Ive so far created a playlist with say 10 albums in, but when i go to add another playlist it deletes the files allready on. when adding both the old one and a new one it then decides it wants to add all 30gig of my ripped music. not fun.

thanks

drag and drop is the way forward with the H10, i used WMP on mine for a while, but makong it show as a hard drive is so much nicer. If you want to try this you need to do the following:

-remove battery
-press and hold the 'o' button
-connect the USB lead
-still holding the 'o' button press the power button
-Your player will show up as a hard drive
-Go into the music folder and copy any music into there
-Run easyH10, which is a small download available HERE, it pulls all of the ID3 information so your songs show up correctly in the players list. Make sure that it is set to pull the information in the order of 'tracks' or it wont show up alphabetically on *** player.
-Use the safely remove hardware option on your system tray to eject player
-let it reboot, and use as normal

I done this for months without any problems at all, along with many other users on here, but you do do this at your own risk.

Either do that or put up with WMP, i chose the way ive outlined, its actually faster to use that method than WMP once your used to it.

or flash it with the us firmware, removing the volume limit and making it a perminant removable drive. the software is quicker and so are the file transfers:)

the h10 I purchased from ocuk last summer actually allowed me to drag and drop the files without any messing about. I beleive it is the us version that requires you to use their own software, not the eu version.
