Iron Banner - Grouping up thread

Just to keep the main thread clear I thought it would be good to have this thread for us that want to level up in Iron Banner.

A bunch of us grouped up yesterday and although it was tough (with the exception of one or two games) we did manage to win the majority which I think is probably the easiest and most fun way to rank up.




Basics:

1. Create a group/party chat
2. People can then join the chat and ask to join in the fire team
3. Let them join in the next game
4. Profit

With it being Iron Banner though you need to bring your best guns and best armour. With me being a level 27 it was very tough but when i got golden gun the majority of times I got at least 3 kills with even 6 kills at one point iirc with the golden gun.

I have a fully upgraded ice breaker which is 1 shot kill to the head and usually puts them on 5-10% health with a body shot and is good for camping a control spot.

We also shouted out tactics over comms for stealing certain control points or heavy ammo boxes, etc which makes a HUGE difference.

It was a good laugh, I've played a few matches this morning so I'm almost at lv4 now. I think I will give destiny a rest now and join you later to finish up.

I will defo be jumping on Iron Banner later. Had a quick go last night and was put in a group with a bunch of random 26/27/28 against a team of 30s. Thought we were gonna get smashed but we beat them handily. I guess the level advantage isn't that strong, but I figure IB is a quicker way to get that last piece of 30 armour than RNGesus and the raid.
