IRQ Problems, BSoD - 7800GT

Some weird problems with my 7800GT.

When trying to install any graphics driver for it I get a Blue screen of death with IRQ Resource sharing conflict or something along those lines.

This is after a fresh format, I had no problems before. I have checked that it is not sharing a IRQ with anything else - its not.

Any ideas?

I've managed to get one nvidia driver "installed" (It installed the drivers, then BSoD, so no control pannel).

Disconnect all unnecessary devices(just enough to boot windows i.e your cpu, memory, hard drive, gfx card.), also check the IRQ's in the bios (something like auto), also disconnect any soundcards as well (maybe a culprit).

What are your specs?
Your wattage and make for your PSU for example.

EDIT: make sure you have plugged in the power cable into the gfx card!
what drivers are you installing?

Like I said, this is after no hardware changes, just a format.

PSU Is a seasonic S12 600w

I'll try disconnecting some things, and the power is connected

I would guess it maybe the sound card, try a new windows install and setup the computer with the all the usual drivers, then make sure it is working, then and only then install the sound card.
