whenever i turn on my pc i get this blue screen about 10 seconds after it logs in. sometimes it has driver_ in front of it, and sometimes it mentions nvsata.sys.
i can't give you the long error code because my graphics card has been dying all week and i think it just now decided to kick the bucket. what good timing.
oh speak of the devil my monitor just came on with the error, it's a bit scrambled but..
STOP: 0x0000000A (0x000000E8, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x806E4A16)
no mention of nvata.sys this time, and i'm not sure when it happened as my graphics decided to cut out during the xp load screen.
i havn't really overclocked my cpu/ram (i set my fsb to 208 (from 201) to see what would happen (+70mhz), then i set it back to normal) but maybe it is just my bad luck and that tiny bit decided to kill my ram.
ps. i know why my graphics is dying and its not related to overclocking, so i doubt that has anything to do with this, plus thats been going on for a week now, without any of this which all happened tonight after my curiosity.
things i can do: use my ibook
things i can't do: log in to windows long enough to do anything
i have tried putting my ram in another slot, but nothing. anyone got any ideas. heh. oh yeah, safemode does the same thing.
edit: ohoho i just logged into safe mode, time to have a nose around
edit2: crash same error. doens't seem to mention nvata.sys any more. i will try and download memtest and run it. but i can't for the life of me remember how to find the system information panel :/
edit3: oh i don't know, maybe it is my graphics. it's never been this messed up. ohwell it'll be 2 weeks for new card
