Hi All,

Just bought a Keysonic Bluetooth Keyboard (model: ACK-540 BT), but when I configure it in Vista (Add the device in Bluetooth Manager) it just drops out and is no longer present in the device list.

I know Vista can see it and they can talk because it enters the passcode ok. Its just once you complete the configuration it then disappears...

I'm using a DELL XPS1530 (Vista Ultimate 32bit) with inbuilt Bluetooth if that makes any difference. I've tried the simple stuff like reboots in case this was required for the drivers, but no joy. Bluetooth devices have always been the bane of my computing life as they never seem to work for me...

Anyone come across anything liike this before please?

Cheers,

M

Uh i'm not sure really, are you using a vista utility to add the device?

Maybe if the keyboard came with it's own software you could try that...

On another note, i'm thinking of getting one of those, how's it look?

Looks great, feels great. I have the wi-fi version which works great with Vista.

It doesn't have its own software, i'm using the Vista Bluetooth manger thingymajiggy (on another note i've tried with a seperate USB bluetooth adapter with the same result). :(

Vista is great, but can be very annoying sometimes. *grrrrr*
