Is 1080p and Sli sorted yet ?

Over the last year or so ive come across a few posts where people where having problems with 37"+ 1080p TVs and Sli setups when running in sli mode.

Anyone know if this problems been sorted yet as im getting my new 8800GT Sli rig built at the weekend and i need a new monitor to do it justice.

Ive noticed 1080p TVs have got a hole lot cheaper so i was thinking of getting one instead of a monitor. but if the sli problem is still there i dont think ill bother.

Why should 1920x1080 60hz not work in SLI (or Crossfire mode?)

Had absolutely no problems running SLI and 1080p with my projector...

I have no idea buy there have been a few posts on the SLizone webby on this issue with no known fix so i thort id ask in here before i spent £700+ on a tv that i could not use.

If there are people on ocuk that have had no problems with this setup it will put my mind at rest.
