Is 120hz still a thing?

or is it termed differently now? I used to browse before I decided to join and remember 120hz monitors being the 'thing', now people don't seem to be mentioning them in replace for 1440 and beyond screens or are those 1200p quotations I see the 120hz monitors?


I'm not looking for a monitor, just when I do look out of general interest I do see certain ones quoted as 120hz it makes me wonder if they still some sort of 'craze' or just simply old hat....

its moved to 144Hz and above now

Depends on monitor size aswell if you get a 34" superwide it's usually 100hz. 27" is 144hz on average apart from a few new monitors coming out shortly that have 165hz +

Are 4k monitors still only up to 60hz or can you get higher then 60hz ones now ?
