is 4530 about the same performance as a 7800 in a laptop

I not sure what she got but i think it is a 7800 gpu in her laptop(£1500 4 or 5 years ago) that on the way out, is a mobile 4530 about the same ? as i not got a clue when it comes to laptop gpu's.

I did start a thread in laptops,but she going out in a hour or so to get one

They put 7800 gtx in class 2 and 4530 in class 3 so maybe 7800 is a lot better

that is assuming we talking about a 7800 'gtx'

It seems to score slightly lower than the 7800gtx in 3dmark05, 6217 against 6600. The 4530 will have dx10.1 support though amongst other features.
