Is 4870CF faster than 9800GX2?

Also, when are the 4870X2's due, can they be crossfired, and will that be quicker than the GTX280? Can you SLI GTX 280's?

4870 in CF is faster than 9800gx2 by a huge ammount.

I did try and look at benchmarks, but kinda got lost with all the 'fakes' and everything else...

Where's the best place to look for reliable reviews these days?

In percentage terms, how much quicker would 4870CF be than 9800GX2?

Is it reasonable to assume that this would be quicker than this?
