An extra £70 spent on the builds we were specing you would get you an i5 Quad core.

Add an extra £60 on top of that an overclockable i5 (Z77 motherboard and cooler).

Which would last a lot longer.

Just food for thought.

Don't be afraid to self build. It really isn't much more complicated than lego.

You will crap yourself when you hear/feel the cpu clamp crunch down, but other than that, it's simple as.
Follow a video guide if you're unsure about anything, but don't waste money by paying someone else to do what really is a simple job.

I'm thinking of building a similar spec PC. But would be willing to stretch my budget to around £600 if the performance gain would be noticeable. Anyone care to help? Would prefer an i5 over an i3 but i'm more than willing to listen to your advice.

Try it again now and see what happens, if not click the warning triangle in your post an see if a mod can open a new thread for you.
