Hi,

I've been runing the Everest stress test for ov 17mins so far. One of the CPU cores is at 93C. Is that miles too high? No crashes yet though.

Thanks

Set the CPU fan on max all the time. CPU temp goes to 77C max but the core temps are 10C hotter at 83-90C depending on the core. Mobo is always around 50C and CPU core is at 1.39.

I cant do anything about it coz I have cerebral palsy and also cant see very well at all. So to hell to the silly thing, if it blows up, it blows up.

Sorry, done:) (the sweary)

Got my brother to have a look, he said he cant see coz the heatsink and fan is bigger than my wallet LOL. He gave it a little jiggle and said it seems on properly. Any easy way of telling?

Trying coretemp now. Cores are at 60 to 63C at idle:( Tjunction (whatever that is) says 100C.
For some reason its saying the CPU is a q6600 at 3000mhz but all other programs say qx6850.

Just ran PC wizard 2008, thats saying the vcore is at 1.050v and temp is 50C. I think the low vcore is coz the CPU is at 2000mhz (speedstep is enabled).
At full load PC Wizard says vcore is 1.238v and temp 80c.

UPDATE
Brother had another look at the PC and he discovered the side fan was blowing into the case, turned it round and the CPU got to 69C at full load. Cores are at 75 to 80C depending on the core. Still a bit high but I think its coz of the crap case.

Thanks for all the help guys:)
