Is 99designs a good place to get a logo created?

What the title says really, to get a logo design it is around £339, is that good? Considering you have 60 odd designs to choose from, so you are not limited to one designer?

I think 99designs is pretty good. You should get a good number of designs to choose from, and there are some pretty decent designers on there.

I didn't think you had to pay unless you are happy with one of the designs??

I used LogoGuru a couple of years ago and got a good Logo but most were crap clipart stuff.

You get what you pay for with these sites, I hate to say it. If it's worth spending money on it's worth employing a professional to do it for you.

99% I would have said 100% but I got lucky. I asked the opinion of the bloke that came up with the "Freelander" name for Landrover and he agreed.

Again its not to everyones tasted but its a logo I can scale onto my bigger corporate image.
