Is a 20c delta between gpu and gpu hotspot bad?

I've been out of the building game for a while, but recently built a new PC and have been messing around with overclocking and watching videos.
A recent Jayz2cents video showed him getting concerned about a 20c delta between his gpu and gpu hot-spot, with him taking the system apart to fix the problem.
My system has exactly that. It's cooling itself fine, with a full load pushing the hotspot to around 80c and the gpu sitting around 60c, which I had been happy about, but now I'm concerned. It's a 4080 super OC and only a couple of months old, so it shouldn't be developing issues just yet should it? Even with a modest overclock.

My gpu hotspot is 5'c hotter than the main temperature. I've got thermal grizzly paste on it and a waterblock. If I take it apart again I will replace it with a themalright heilos v2 pad (it doesn't degrade over time, same as thermal grizzly cryosheet but that's electrically conductive). I might just upgrade it though with a 9070xt and waterblock. You're right though, a two month card shouldn't have a hotspot that out of whack.

From what I've read 20°c is higher than average for an Nvidia card, but my 6800 XT had that from day one and ran fine for 4 years until I upgraded a couple of weeks ago.
