Is a 22" wide panel 'taller' than a 19" 4:3 panel?

Hi all, I am on the verge of ordering a Dell E228WFP from OcUK and I was wondering what the actual size of the screen is.

I currently have a 19" LG1980U and I don't really want to get a screen which will be smaller vertically than that, ie I'd like to have the same screen size, but 'add' the width.

The measurements of my 19" 4:3 screen are: 38cm wide by 30cm high.

Can anyone with a 22" widescreen tell me their dimensions? Particularly if you have a Dell.

Thanks!

Ah, sorry, I hadn't made it clear:

I mean the size of the visible panel, the actual screen itself, not including the surround.

Hence taking to the forum, I couldn't find it on the Dell site tech specs.

it will be taller, but only marginally. the 19" 4:3 has a verticle res of 1024 and the 22" 16:10 has a verticle res of 1050.

so, 26 pixels taller :p

I'd keep the LG1980U which is a great screen. Isn't the E228WFP from Dell's 'value' range?
An Ultrasharp might be a better purchase if you want the upgrade feeling. :)
