I am upgrading my motherboard to an 'Asus Crosshair V formula Z 990fx' and as far as i know the only waterblock available for it is a VRM's + northbridge waterblock. Currently my loop is as follows:

EK 250mm tube reservoir
4.0 ek pump
ek high flow supremacy cpu block
ek XT 240mm radiator (with a couple of high flow fans)

I would like to ask whether i should add another radiator to the loop to compensate for the extra heat from the motherboard waterblock. At the moment my 24/7 OC (4.4ghz) keeps about 38-40~ degree's at load.

Also i have been told that my pump is somewhat lacking and some people say may not be enough for multiple blocks, but others have told me that it should be fine since i will be using only high flow blocks. What do you guys think?

Thanks

Your pump should be fine :)

Is it just the CPU in the loop? If so, the 240mm should be enough to cool your mobo, but if possible, another 120mm would be advisable.

Any particular reason you're watercooling your mobo? It's not really necessary :)

Its just the CPU in the loop at the moment. I understand that it isn't unnecessary, its more for aesthetic reasons lol. My GPU is a gtx 580 PNY liquid cooled, so i wont ever be adding the gpu into the cpu loop cause it has its own.
