Is a 6900XT going to be much better than a 3070 for VR-ness

Currently running a 3070 with my Q2. And as the 4000 series cards are priced beyond stupidity, is a 6900XT going to be that much better than my current card?

6900 xt is 40% faster than the 3070 but as above wait for RDNA3.

I've personally never had an issue, played through things like Alyx and bone works without an issues on my 6800xt. I don't imagine you would have any issue running any vr game on a 6900 or that one team is that much better that you would actually notice.

For the Quest 2, stay with your 3070. Much better encoder and far less problems with Virtual Desktop.

For headsets like the Reverb G2, Valve Index etc. Nvidia is still better but RDNA 2 cards are nearly caught up.

I would say it's not worth changing over for just VR. In fact, I don't think it's worth changing over for normal gaming either. £700 is a lot of money.

Personally, I would put the money by and wait until something better comes along.
