In acme's chair.
will a 700w modxstream run an i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz, 8gb 1600mhz ddr3, 2 hdd's, 1 ssd, 1 optical drive, and a power hoarding gtx480 (totally stock)?

at a much later stage i may be getting another 480 for sli and 2 aftermarket 480 coolers, but at that point i would most likely upgrade to a 1200w psu.

i should just add that i got a 480 at a fantastic price, and would not have even considered the beast otherwise. but it was the price of a 1gb 6950 so i grabbed one. (only running the stock cooler for 6 months or so probably)

i can pick up a 700w modxstream for £60 inc postage, and my budget is being rather stretched already, which is why i am not choosing to buy a 1200w psu straight away.

Will be fine with a single 480. I'm using one with an over clocked phenom II and 6870cf.

is it a good psu? nice and quiet etc? (not that im gonna hear it over an old 480 ) this is my first proper build :) (apart from messing around with an old p4 rig i have kicking around)
