Is a 7950GX2 overkill

Discount: You'll be lucky in this game unfortunately - its a market where small margin/high turnover is the winner.

Despite that, I have to add my vote for the GX2 - I'd have one if I could afford one.

Yeah I know what you mean...Not having 2 pay VAT is nice enough tho. I been buying a lot of MX bits lately thats why I wondered if anywhere gave discounts if you brought a lot of stuff. :p
