is a d14 worth the extra over the u12p..and will it fit?!

so i am about to ramp the pc up again to transcode some blu rays, i currently have the u12p and was wondering if the temp reduction offered by the d14 is worth the change?

or are there any better cooling solutions for similar cost?

the more CPU power the quicker they will complete

also would it fit in a haf 922?

Check the link in my sig but in short, it's quite an improvement. 10C+ difference is a fair bit in my experience.

The Silver Arrow is a cheaper alternative that is as cool and runs quieter. The only issue will be the memory clearance but you could always move the front fan to the back.

ok im going to find some more reviews on the silver arrow, it looks good especially if i dont have to buy any better paste.

atm i have my cpu cooler blowing air vertically because i have a 200mm fan directly above pulling air out of the system
