my missus has 32bit vista HP SP1 and she uses a Ideq N1 with a biostar motherboard, computer works perfectly fine(onboard GPU dont work mind lol, but have dedicated, only cost £30 for the pc months ago), just the issue is on start up you have to press F1 to continue boot and you cant seem to access the bios or any other option i see(think only 3). the previous owner told me when i collected.

so does this mean its a OS issue or Hardware issue?

cheers.

Sounds like possibly the CMOS battery (usually a CR2032 I believe) is flat - so it's losing it's settings, causing you to need to press F1 to continue (and then F2 or Delete would drop you into the BIOS)

But this would be way before the OS comes into the equation.
