is a G5 a good upgrade from an MX510

I have had an mx510 for over a year now, its been great, but I have always had problems with the little oval plastic feet coming away and now a few are missing.

just wondering if the g5 is a superior mouse or is it worth sticking with my 510 and fixing the issue with those teflon pads (Ihave a stripsomewhere)

If you can fix the problem then do it, the G5 won't be much of an upgrade and definately not work the £30 if you can fix the issue for nothing.
