Is a gtx 20xx Battlefield V redeem code redeemable on a gtx1080ti?.

I read the terms and conditions which clearly states a gtx 20xx series card must be installed.

But has anyone had success using the promo code on a non gtx 20xx card..?

I can't see how the code would know.

I had the code with my 2080 but i don't remember having to verify my GPU or anything

Yes... It's just a code to redeem the game regardless of your hardware. So go ahead and buy it.

Is it one that is verified through Geforce Experience? Maybe that will know some how? I seem to remember a thread about this on the 10 series cards when they came out.

I've bought a few codes from the MM here on people who sell them after buying the card, never had an issue despite having drastically different hardware.

There have been some instances on both GPU sides where the keys being sold on these offers have required activation via their own software. For example with GeForce experience it would make you put the code in and check your hardware to make sure you actually have the system part from the offer. If you don’t it won’t allow you to go further in the activation where it typically would open a web browser and ask you to link your steam/uplay account ect.

Oh, that's crap! That's either new or I got lucky.

For my previous replies, ignore my input for those asking, doesn't sound like it's worth the risk.

Consider yourself lucky to even have a code. I bought a graphics card from OcUK last week which was advertised as coming with a code for either BFV or Anthem and I got nothing. No code to be found anywhere.

Did you contact them? It usually comes as a separate email.
