Is a non-operational sRGB mode acceptable for an all-round monitor?

Hi,

I've been keeping an eye on the AOC Q27G3XMN and it seems the UK/EU Model for whatever reason doesn't have a functional sRGB mode. The USA units have been confirmed to be perfectly fine.

Is this a major deal for a multi-purpose monitor? Mostly for text work and the odd bit of gaming.

For text and gaming, no. You would need an sRGB mode for colour accuracy in that specific colour space. You would know if you needed that.
