Hi quick question.
I have a '8 port gigabit switch' but not got round to using it yet as in the process of sorting my lounge out and moving router etc etc.
I have just built a HTPC
I also have a Squeezebox (wireless music player for those who do not know what it is)
As the moment. The HTPC is wired to 1 of the ethernet ports on my router.
The squeezebox talks wireless to the HTPC as that is where my MP3's are stored.
Can I connect the squeezebox directly to my router (it has ethernet port) does the router also act as a switch. (you can set the squeezebox up wired or wireless)
There may not even be any advantage in this, just wanted to see.
Just not sure. Thanks
