Is an upgrade from a 3200+ single core to a 3800+ dual core worth it?

Hi,
I have a bit of money and Im toying with the idea of going dual core. Im on a budget but I can stretch the budget. I mean I dont want to spend a lot but is a 3800+ worth it?
Do they clock well aswell. My 3200+ went up to 2.6Ghz!
I game a lot but I dont go for super fast gaming and high textures. I just want to boost my FPS and overalll speed.

Well I am in the same situation apart from my 3200+ can hit 2.8ghz before my memory packed in.

I am thinking the same as you ... dual core 3800+ from 3200+.

The thing is the 3800+ DC is basically 2x3200+ cores. Its up to you but I would consider buying a 2GB kit of RAM

So, is it worth it?

I dont think I need another gig of RAM, I dont think it will improve my gaming experience much. Maybe it will. Dont really know.
