When I first started using the mail "app" in Windows 10 it looked to be quite slick but now there does seem to be some issues with syncing etc!

Basically I've got it set up for my Microsoft/Hotmail account but when I've created a new folder (using the app) for some e-mails, that folder hasn't been created when I look at the account on either my phone (Android) or if I log in via the web access!?!?!

I've found the option to download email from "Any time" but it's not only made no difference but now the two e-mails that I put in the new folder have disappeared completely!?!?!

Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be and how to solve it??

It has never worked properly for me since 10 came out, I don't mind though since I use Google Apps with my own domain for email. I haven't used my Hotmail account in years for actual email.

While I have noticed the same issues as well with Hotmail/Outlook, oddly enough, the app actually works completely fine with my Gmail account .

Just recently, MS have been upgrading all hotmail/outlook accounts to use their exchange server backend. Perhaps you need to delete your accounts and setup them up again so it picks up the new settings? (when I say delete, i mean remove in the app. But since I don't use windows 10, I have no idea how it works. :o)

gmail will be using IMAP so that will be unaffected by these changes.
