Is anyone having issues after Windows 7 Patches in auto update last night? (13/05)

Mine and my mates Windows 7 Laptops are playing up after Windows 7 updates last night (13th May 2010). 2 Important updates/patches were downloaded.

Since then my mates Windows 7 laptop has been locking up, blue screening with no problems what so ever before they were installed, my laptop is taking an age to log in, freezing, locking up, and mouse and screen freezes for 5 seconds every 30 seconds or so.

Anyone else having issues since last nights updates?

Two different manufacturers

Hes issue seems to be a lot worse than mine, hes is pretty much all the time where as mine could be fine for a while, then come and go.
 
KB980408 - 27th April 2010, seems to have been the cause of a BSOD on 2 of my systems with Win 7...
KB978542 - 11th May 2010, causes problems to IE8, freezing etc...
 
My laptop got stuck at "Please wait..." last night after an update. I did a restore to what looks like the stage just before a reboot after installing an update. Machine restarted, "configured updates" then logged in just fine.

Not sure my issue is the same as I have had no BSoDs or any other problems.
