Is AOC rubbish?

I have AOC i2353FH IPS monitor. When I installed the monitor drivers, Windows Pictures Viewers' background turned yellowish. I know this is caused by incompatibly of the drivers. Therefore, I have to remove AOC colour profile in Colour Management Settings and add sRGB.

Out of curiosity, why did AOC advertise their monitors as being compatible with with Windows 7, when they are clearly not? They have seen to be misleading their customers. I know its not my graphics card fault since I checked it with AMD and Nvidia.

Any thoughts?

Do you really need to use the driver? I find windows picks up my monitor nicely but Ive heard this before with drivers. If you dont need the aoc colour profile and its fine without it then there is no fault just a driver.

yeah just forget about the driver and supplied AOC ICC, you don't need it. not a bad screen that one so i wouldn't call them rubbish at all. if you want you could even try the OSD settings and calibrated ICC profile found from the review here (from the Ph model, but worth trying perhaps):

The yellow tint would be caused by the white point not being properly balanced to reflect the yellow phosphor to blue diode spectral output ratio. Sorry I couldn't resist - nothing to do with AOC being rubbish (they aren't) and likely correctable as per the post above. The i2353 I reviewed had a very well balanced white point straight from the box in Gamma mode 3. What GPU are you using? You might be having some HDMI colour signal issues.
