is as5 much better than as3?

i'll be putting a new q6600 in my rig next week but i think i don't have any as5 in the flat. I've got some as3...would that be ok or is it worth buying some as5? Thanks

I changed from AS3 to AS5, temps dropped 5 C

Although I did use different methods to spread it,

AS3 - Thin even spread all over
AS5 - Thin line and left the HSF spread it

Negligible tbh, but I've been converted to MX-2
