Is battleborn a loss cause?

i purchased the game on Xbox one early in the year for a fiver from Sainsbury's and liked it, but then sold it with other games as I wasn't playing it enough and now I'm back to pc gaming just as much as(though got GTA 5 on console now so that's a time consuming) I am browsing cdkeys for games I haven't owned or ever attempted to play on pc and battleborn + dlc is £3.99 and it's tempting, but rather not if it takes too long for games?

I don't really like steam much and so havent used it for ages, but obviously some games only use it.

I thought this was a proper gem of a game that was released at the worst time.

For £3-4 it's a steal purely for single player campaign and the brilliant instances.

Don't play it for multiplayer !!!!!!!!!!

Why Gearbox released this alongside Overwatch I'll never know. Total disaster of a game launch!

Marketing and release fail - it's a shame as I really enjoyed it, prefered this over overwatch but going up against a new blizzard IP is suicide

The game was pretty much abandoned by devs it's a lost cause.

I loved the game on beta and when it went free to play a few months back I jumped on and played it like crazy for a couple of weeks it had around 600 players at the time so could get a match after a short wait.

After 2 weeks of playing I hit level 20 and at level 20 the game modes change and instead of incursions where I get 60fps ultra it changed so every other match I was on a game mode where I get 25fps minimum settings so I had to stop playing.

Game is completely broken for certain pc's I tried every fix I could find and made various forum posts looking for fix but nothing worked what ever settings I used I was getting framerate dropping into the 20's.

It really annoying because I was loving the game before I hit level 20.

They did add a new gane mode 3v3 a few weeks back so I thought I would try it but rather than save the game it killed it. The tiny player base just got split up even more to the point of it being impossible to find a game.

Single player is completely broken on my pc also on my pc highly clocked 3570k 280x windows 10 it drops into 20's on minimum settings.
