I tried it briefly, and ended up removing, setting 4k 27 to 2560 scaled through OS. It's good enough for my gammy eyes!

I’m happy with the free version. they have a free trial, but I didn’t need the features
* Abilty to set custom resolutions
* Ability to set contrast as well as brightness
* A few they virtual thingies that I just never use.
* Much more support for multiple monitors.
if you have a single monitor, and are happy with the scaling options, and don’t mess about with your contrast that often, the free version is all you need.
It’s actually very nice of them to provide such functionality for free.
