The wife and I haven't had a holiday for 3 years and what with it being her 30th next year I was thinking of booking a 4 week family holiday for us and the little dude.
Now I've been pricing holidays up and for some odd reason booking a 4 week holiday is more expensive than booking 2, 2 week holidays back to back for the same location. Not by a small amount either we are talking approximately £850 difference.
Now to me this doesn't make any sense. Booking 2 holidays back to back would mean more flights and transfers than a single 4 week holiday. So quite why there is such a price difference I don't know.
Now my question is would there be any issues with booking the holiday in two parts and just not using the middle flights???? Would it cause any issues with the 'second' holiday or the very final flight home being cancelled? Am I likely to get a bill from the airline for failing to turn up for 2 flights (6 if you count everyone)
