I still don't know what to expect from getting Burnout Paradise. I nejoyed burnout 3 but apparently this game is rather different. Played Demo, thought it was *ok*, anyone had any good/bad experiences with it?

It is nothing like the old ones imo. you go round and get races from junctions.

It isnt bad, but each time you upgrade your liscence(sp?) all the races reset so you have to do them all over again. I am on the higher end liscences now (A atm) and it becomes very repetitive. Also the slow down crashes are very anoying as you cannot skip them.

Its a good enough game but imo it isnt worth 40quid.

Not played the retail, but demo felt great

its one of those games to pick up when Im wanting a new game list

I thought it was really good, I got it on release day but I don't really play it much anymore after it became a grind of racing to the mountains every time.
They are going to add new content soon as well.

Was really looking forward to it as I loved all previous versions but I got bored early on. I have yet to trade it in tho so I will prolly go back to it.

I really loved the early burnouts, but I really couldn't get on with this. Feels too samey a lot of the time and never really drew me in.

A game with a map scale as big as it is cannot be judged with a demo. It's good, I thought Burnout Revenge was better as it had structure, but Paradise is worth a punt.

it's a good game while it lasts but don't expect anything like previous burnouts. this is very different and you will be addicted until you complete all the challenges, drive throughs, stunt runs, road rage, races, marked men, jumps, gate smashes and plenty more. i have put in 150 hours in this game until i got 101% complete. if you don't intend to do eveything that this game offers i'd say don't bother. i don't play it much more anymore because there isn't a lot to go back to but i enjoy casual stroll through now and then but not much more. burnout revenge is still proper burnout racing game. in burnout paradise you will be annoyed by races because you must look at the map a lot to see where you are going. i was getting tired of burnout revenge which is why i bought paradise but i didn't regret it because i enjoyed everything it had to offer just don't think of it as a racing game mainly
