Is cod WAW still alive?

Recently borrowed my roommates xbox 360..so i played some cod4, no players online at all. Not sure about WAW, but i spent countless days on zombies and multiplayer. For me when I played cod...waw is like the same era of cod4 but in WII. Seriously do not enjoy the new cods, adv warfare..ghosts..? its become too fast paced and spray and pray..nothing changes over the series.

My main question is..is waw alive on the PC? tempted to get it for the zombies/nostalgia of playing it as a kid haha

Cheers, it really kills me to see childhood favourites die, they need to do remakes or something to bring them back lol, im sure many would agree, but they've already adapted

I've never been a fan of zombies but most people are. I don't see them ever getting back to the old cod days

Idk, I played them on release when it started, and it was fun to me, but multiplayer on this was amazing..much better than the cods out now..you coudnt spray bullets across the map and kill them on this. it was nicely balanced and realistic lol

Moved to battlefield ages ago on the pc, but still miss the good old cod days lol

I've always wanted WAW on Steam but Activision don't really understand the concept of a Steam sale. Willing to pay a fiver, no more.

thats the problem for me atm..I'm not willing to pay £20 for such an old game, regardless of how great it is. And isn't it gaben that has control over the sales? or activision actually control it?

Loads of players and servers on the normal games modes still. Play this and COD4 almost daily, COD4 is loads busier though.

man cod4 is so expensive on pc..compared to console....on console like 0 players literally..but I guess ill stick to my battlefield 4 lol

I preferred zombies on black ops 1 in the end because they brought all the classic zombie maps over to it. plus new guns etc.

bo1 was an okay game aswell..for multiplayer..but black ops 2..went downhill..spawnkills too fast paced..spray n pray man..and black ops 3..coming out...will be the same or worse..but kids play anything eh

Ok I been playing this for the last 30 minutes of so, I tried out multiplayer and shocked to see people still playing on 1.0! 1.7 is out now with all latest updates/map packs/zombies.

Explained to a few people in the server i was playing on and they didn't even know! joined one server and they has level boosting, i got to level 30 in about 7 kills haha.

Downloading updates now, if anyone fancies a game we should have a blast on zombies or something!

It's still the best COD game imo, hence when it gets discount it's usually very little. You might have luck on CD key websites or the river place, also check HUKD.

Also regardless of it being the best cod game in our eyes..dont see how they would see it as the best in theirs..to only reduce discount by little.. they're just bringing out cod after cod and milking money, they could care less lol

Yes the cd key for WaW is just to authenticate it when installing, you use Treyarchs servers for online, so you need to get the ISO from the net or DVD. I have a spare CD Key for WaW if you want it?

So, yes I am now addicted again to WaW!! I can't stop playing online, there are still lots of servers online and some great ones at that, decent players and no kids like you get on consoles.

Haha yeah I remember the 3 weapon glitch played a bit of Der Riese last night with a couple of people got to round 46, two of us had ray guns and i had wunderwaffe all upgraded, anyway everyone went down apart from one fella and we all died, but he was still alive running around with a crawler... guess what happens? the crawler kills him!!!!
