Is cod WAW still alive?

Ok I been playing this for the last 30 minutes of so, I tried out multiplayer and shocked to see people still playing on 1.0! 1.7 is out now with all latest updates/map packs/zombies.

Explained to a few people in the server i was playing on and they didn't even know! joined one server and they has level boosting, i got to level 30 in about 7 kills haha.

Downloading updates now, if anyone fancies a game we should have a blast on zombies or something!

bo1 was an okay game aswell..for multiplayer..but black ops 2..went downhill..spawnkills too fast paced..spray n pray man..and black ops 3..coming out...will be the same or worse..but kids play anything eh

Also regardless of it being the best cod game in our eyes..dont see how they would see it as the best in theirs..to only reduce discount by little.. they're just bringing out cod after cod and milking money, they could care less lol

the cod WAW zombie maps all got ported onto black ops 1 (at least on the Xbox 360) ive just finised playing Die Reise still absolutly loads of players at any time of the day, easily get a 4player game going even managed a round 34 with 4players other day :)

if anyones interested in zombies on the 360 that is :)

I've looked for Lawrence281 but Steam says can't find you?

Yes the cd key for WaW is just to authenticate it when installing, you use Treyarchs servers for online, so you need to get the ISO from the net or DVD. I have a spare CD Key for WaW if you want it?

So, yes I am now addicted again to WaW!! I can't stop playing online, there are still lots of servers online and some great ones at that, decent players and no kids like you get on consoles.

You have to register on their site to be able to log into the client. Speaking of the client, get the new Beta one, it's super easy to use, basically does everything for you.
 
Anyone seen the new map called The Giant? which is coming with Black Ops III, it's a remake of Der Riese with younger versions of the original playable characters, Dempsey, Richtofen etc..

right so i download the game. copy main, miles, zone plus localization.txt into a folder. copy paste client download into that folder, run exe and let it down missing files.

thats it to get it working???

Problem I have with COD Zombies is that I am a purist. I loved the original game philosophy but then they kind of went ott in Black Ops adding silly easter eggs and George Romero.

Install MW2, download the beta Repz launcher, install it then point it to your MW2 install directory where mp.exe is then it'll auto-patch it and you're good to go!

This is why The Giant has gone back to the original story line and a remake of Der Riese I'm hoping it will be like the original because like you, I love the originals too.

I loved holding down an area with the nitrogen cooled pap flamethrower and Bowie knife. The 3 weapon glitch was useful too. :D

I remember the trolling with the type 99 gun and how everyone wanted it in the game. :p

One thing I wanted however was to pap a bouncing betty, that would have been so cool

I'm a certified addict to zombies, my steam is lawrence281, il gladly play if my integrated gpu works, still waiting to buy 980, whats your steam ill add you if you want. And i would be grateful for the cd key :)

Haha yeah I remember the 3 weapon glitch :D played a bit of Der Riese last night with a couple of people got to round 46, two of us had ray guns and i had wunderwaffe all upgraded, anyway everyone went down apart from one fella and we all died, but he was still alive running around with a crawler... guess what happens? the crawler kills him!!!! :(:D
