Is COD4 very short?

Haven't even touched single player but from some of the recommendations on here I think I'll give it a go :D

You what!!! I didn't touch multiplayer until I completed single player. I suppose I was really looking foward to it though when it came out.

As someone said earler, even though its short, its more of a movie/game, and as such, is stunning in places. Namely the sniper mission.
 
Wack it up to full difficulty and then say you completed it in a few hours. The ferris wheel part is very hard on the top level. Give it a go.

Ive completed it on hardest setting but it certainly didnt only take three hours lol
 
Exactly..play it on easy im sure you will run through it, played on Veteren and zomg to that ferris wheel level lol..best game I have played recently!:D
 
Loved Cod4 and thought it went back to the roots of what made cod1 so compelling to play. SP is short, granted but it is pretty much top notch when compared with some of those awful games that are released these days.
 
Brilliant game, loved every second until the ending. Left me a little "oh, okay...".

I won't say no more incase some peeps havent played it yet, but on the whole it's a brilliant game.

It's short, but it's also really, really good.

Multiplayer isn't bad either, not a patch on COD1, but still a laugh.
