Is Colin McRae - DiRT dual core?

The reason I ask, is im going to put my old [email protected] cpu to rest and upgrading to a opty 185 and clock it to 2.8.

At the moment Dirt is really chuggy in 6-8car races, Will I see a improvement when I go dual core??

Depends on res, aa levels etc... I found getting a 8800gts and over clocking it made a big difference.

I think the 1900XT will be whats slowing it down.

AFAIK, yes, it is optimised for dual core.

My 1900XT keeps me well over 35fps, DiRT is just optimized carply. Thats whats to blame.

I heard the patch gave a lot of performance but i only have the demo so i duno if its true or not.
