Is coloured fluid as bad as it used to be?

Hi, I was just wondering since I am going to be building a new loop this year if the new coolant fluids are as bad as the previous ones (I haven't got any experience with pastel, colours etc) for gunking up and staining blocks.

Normally I would have picked coloured tubing but I can't find any for the 12/10mm hardline variety.

As always any help is appreciated :)
 
Regarding gunking they are 99% as good as clear coolants, but you still get stains, probably not as bad as before.

I prefer clear coolants.

Damn, I thought the staining might have gone away. Thanks for answering though :)

Does anyone know if coloured 12/10 hard tube exists, I know there is Primochil for the 13/10 but no one seems to do 12/10 variants :(

There are several components in a system that can be stained depending on what colour fluids you use, what temperature you reach internally and tubing you use. Soft tubing and PETG tubing suck up the most dye how ever products such as E22 Ultra clear hard acrylic tube or Mayhems Glass tubing do not.

Warning

If you drop dye on a carpet do not wipe it up. as this will only spread the dye further Simply dab the stain up and seek professional help from a carpet doctor. Some dyes will stain wood tops.
