Is 'deft' a reasonable response when hair is cut, I ask Youths.

Hello dreadfuls :)

I am a Very Attractive Man and like to think I'm on trend most of the time (it is all of the time, that was a joke). Today, a haircut happened on my head and I enjoyed it tremendously, well done everyone. Thanks for coming, exceptional!

A Youth, also having his hair cut at the same time as me but not on the same chair as me - that would not work for a variety of reasons unless we were in a comedic show like Friends or Seinfeld, oh they are a hoot! - was presented the mirror and asked how it looked.

"Deft," he replied. I was staggered.

Do I need to mix up my barber talk? Here are some useful phrases for barber-happeners :

- yes, good.
- thank you.
- Oh, ok.
- That's almost good.
- Great job, thanks!
- Can you take some more off the back? (I enjoy this one a LOT because it is)
- Uh huh.
- Yep.
- Thanks man.

'Deft' seems like a stretch. I might be okay with 'tight' if it was the 90's again, even 'legit' at a push and I was a stupid person. I'm very onboard the 'rad' train because rad never dies.

But 'deft'? I'm not feeling much room here. What do we think?
