I have my BenQ IPS screen up against the bedroom wall /window so I can look out as I work. The room is south facing so gets a lot of sunlight. The sun obviously doesn't hit the face of the screen but does get the back a lot. I just noticed a stuck pixel and after Googling noticed someone said sunlight can cause them. Not sure how true that is? I have searched and can't find a definitive answer to back that up.
Is direct sunlight bad on a monitor?
