Is DLSS / FG always effective?

Hey guys,

Just started some Dragons Dogma 2, running at 1440p high detail..and its runs really smooth and well, but..

is some areas my FPS is dropping from like 140fps to 80ish fps, when I turn on DLSS it makes near no difference? IS that normal in some circumstances? or possibily an issue?

My rig, 7900X and a 4080 Super..

Dragon's Dogma 2 is severely CPU limited in places. Even at 1080p you'll struggle to get it above 80 in certain areas.

It runs well, no stuttering when dropping etc, was just curious.

Very limited sensitivity though for the mouse, it really is a controller game I think.
