Is entanet down?

My internet just died completely, im with entanet, ive phoned customer support but it says im no 23 in the queue.

Obviously this is an awkward for people to answer, but is anyone else on enta having problems tonight, fortunately i have a usb 3g dongle.

Cheers bud, i had changed ISP to fast, i thought it might have switched over, but they said no.

Someone cut a Fiber near scotland somewhere , no eta on fix

My connection was back this morning when I got up at 7, and the helpdesk said sometime before 9am was the ETA on the fix.

Yep, My mate russ who works for enta said someone has cut a fibre line that is why they are having problems.

is ****** off yet ANOTHER fibre has been cut... seriously. **** OFF CUTTING FIBRES YOU RETARDS.

Yeah noticed mine was off about quarter to 10 so phoned Enta. support. said there had been a fibre cut that was affecting thousands of users on different ISP's, and could take about 6 to 8hrs to fix, so best to try in morning, and if still same phone back, but i got up about 10 and it was back then.

First time ive had to phone support, was nice to to be able to talk to someone English for a change, and he was polite etc..., also didn't take long to answer my call, as it said i was only 3rd in the queue when i phoned up on the recorded message while waiting.

It was fixed around quarter 4 this morning according to the Enta. NOC.

mines running really really slow connected at 1500KPS and normal have 3-4 meg
