Is F1 CE an improved version of F1 06?

As title is it a completely new game or just a graphical improvement?

And I know that Forumla 1 games are going to be similar, just wondering if the gameplay improvements are significant

Well i have F1 06 for the PSP and it is just a graphical improvement.

It also does have online too though, and i dare say some of the handling etc is better. But the fundamental game, career, championship etc is pretty much the same.

You could say that about different football games as well. Features are always going to be added or changed, hence why I was asking.

You could but the F1 genre is so specific you could go back go back 5 or 6 years and it would effectively be the same game, but for roster changes and weaker graphics.

That's not necessarily the case even with football games.

I'd love an F1 game that was set in the middle 1980s with Mansell, Senna, Piquet etc. For me that was the golden era. I used to love seeing the cars (with their turbo boosts) serpentine towards the finish line in order to get the last drops of fuel from the tank.

You need rFactor for the PC then
